La restauración ecológica de una zona boscosa en el municipio de Emiliano, Zapata, Tabasco, llevó a cabo la plantación de un total de 172,562 árboles de cinco especies distintas, adaptadas a las condiciones ambientales del sitio. El objetivo principal del proyecto es potenciar la biodiversidad, mejorar la calidad del suelo y contribuir a la infiltración del agua, creando a la vez oportunidades para la educación ambiental.
